Abstract

In short, using psycho-art therapy in the case of a male adult, who suffered continued sexual abuse during his adolescence. By exploring the different traumas experienced by the patient, he can overcome his “victim” status in order to confront other, deeper and more hidden truths regarding his personal history. We will examine some art therapy techniques which have contributed to his positive evolution and make some observations regarding the methodology used and the relationship between patient and therapist.
