Recurrent aggressive angiomyxoma

Abstract

Aggressive angiomyxoma is a rare, slow-growing myxoid neoplasm that occurs almost exclusively in the genital, perineal and pelvic regions of adult women. Aggressive angiomyxoma mostly occurs during the reproductive years.1 It carries a high risk for local relapse. Long term follow up of cases is very essential. We describe a case of a 42-year-old woman presenting with a large swelling on the posterolateral aspect of labia major diagnosed to have aggressive angiomyxoma.
