Abstract

The objective of this research paper is to study the benefits in terms of operational excellence after implementing of an ERP system in a large scale industry (Filters Manufacturer). The study contains the functions from 'Inventory', 'Procurement', 'Order Management' & 'Mobile Supply Chain'. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software integrates key business and management processes within and beyond a firm's boundary. An ERP system has the potential to seamlessly integrate various processes and functions of an organization, and generate a comprehensive picture of an entire company. Traditional methods of doing the business are too slow for the industry which is trying to compete against electronic.
