Abstract

In a review based on the literature, some 42 species of parasites of man in New Zealand are listed and discussed with reference to their medical importance, the influences of population movements, . and the presence of domestic- animals. Few parasites recorded are of great medical significance. Probably the greatest single influence on human parasitology in New Zealand is the presence of large numbers of domestic animals. © 1976 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
