PERANCANGAN PERUMAHAN DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR MODERN DI KOTA GORONTALO

Abstract

Housing development is part of the national housing development that needs to be improved and developed in a kite-oriented, directed and planned manner so that it can address housing problems. In housing development, it is necessary to design housing through a modern approach. Modern architecture is an International Style that adheres to Form Follows Function which is completely boxy, undecorated and monotonous repetition. Design using concepts with a modern architectural approach is the most important part in building design so that it can determine success in understanding the wishes of the assignor in accordance with government regulations. The aim of this research is to find out the application of the concept through a modern architectural approach in the design of housing developments in the city of Gorontalo. This study uses qualitative methods and observations as a first step in determining the application of modern concepts in housing design type 120. The variables in this study are site, climatology, topographical analysis, circulation, noise, vegetation, zoning, utilities and design of the application of modern architecture. Through this design, it will become an example or recommendation in housing development with a modern approach.
