Abstract

In the September issue of Chem Catalysis, the Xiong and Zhang groups leveraged the power of density functional theory (DFT) to unveil new mechanistic insight into the regiochemically reversed, enantioselective copper-catalyzed hydroamination reaction. Their findings enabled the development of a new method to access fluorine-containing α-chiral tertiary alkylamines.
