Radial nerve palsies in the newborn

Abstract

Eight cases of radial palsy in the newborn are described. Uterine action was known to be abnormal in six of these cases. The prognosis for the radial nerve lesion was uniformly good. It is suggested that a uterine constriction ring may be a cause of such radial nerve lesions.
