Abstract

Aiming at the problem that it is difficult to evaluate the influence of tension-bending leveling process parameters of strip on elongation and straightness, the nonlinear dynamic finite element analysis was conducted for tension-bending and leveling process, respectively. The influence of parameters such as material, thickness, tension, offset of bending rolls, offset of leveling rolls and original shape on elongation and straightness was simulated. The results show that the elongation increases with the increase of tension, and increases first and then becomes stable with the increase of offset of bending rolls. However, the straightness increases first and then decreases with the increase of offset of leveling rolls. The leveling effect is the best when the offsets of bending rolls and leveling rolls are equal. The larger yield strength and thickness of strip are, the smaller elongation is and the larger the needed eveling parameters are. The optimal leveling parameters vary with original shape, and too large or too small parameters can reduce the leveling quality of strip.
