Abstract
A method to estimate the actual frequency content of the received signal from an inversion of the period was demonstrated. In this measurement two transducers were used in a pulse receive configuration to determine the velocity of the flexural plate mode over a wide frequency range. A peak in the waveforms received at various distances from the generation transducer was used to measure the time-of-flight of the signals.
