Sobre o início da romanização do Algarve: 20 anos depois

Abstract

The archaeological work carried out during the last two decades in the South of the Portuguese territory have substantially altered the data available for the analysis of the transition between the Late Iron Age and the early Roman presence in this region. This work seeks to present an updated overview of the archaeological elements that characterize these moments, while seeking to interpret this data in light of new perspectives that allow a better understanding of the Romanization process of southern Portuguese coast.
