Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the value of the influence of using financial technology for the OVO digital wallet brand on interest in transactions and the effectiveness of use during the pandemic. In early March 2020 there was an outbreak of a virus called the Covid-19 pandemic. The existence of this epidemic has caused interest in online transactions to increase. The issue of the rotation of the Covid-19 pandemic is very vulnerable to affecting the interest in transactions directly decreasing. The research method used is Path Analysis or path analysis which is a statistical analysis technique developed from multiple regression analysis. Based on inferential statistical analysis using path analysis, it is stated that there is an influence between the use of OVO digital wallet financial technology on interest in transactions, it has been proven that the influence is significantly positive, so the better the use of OVO digital wallet financial technology, the higher the interest in transactions among students. Bachelor of Management from the Islamic University of Bandung, class of 2017-2019. The use of the OVO digital wallet financial technology has no effect on effectiveness among students of the Bandung Islamic University Management S1 class 2017-2019, meaning that even though there is OVO digital wallet technology innovation it is not able to increase the effectiveness of financial transactions. Abstrak.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai pengaruh penggunaan financial technology merek dompet digital OVO terhadap minat bertransaksi dan efektivitas penggunaan di masa pandemi. Pada awal bulan maret tahun 2020 terjadi wabah virus yang di sebut pandemi Covid-19. Adanya wabah ini menyebabkan minat bertransaksi secara online meningkat. Isu perputaran pandemi Covid-19 sangat rentan mempengaruhi minat bertransaksi secara langsung menurun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Path Analysis atau analisis jalur yang merupakan suatu teknik analisis statistika yang dikembangkan dari analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis), menyatakan terdapat pengaruh antara penggunaan financial technology dompet digital OVO terhadap minat bertransaksi sudah terbukti pengaruh tersebut signifikan positif, sehingga semakin baik penggunaan financial technology dompet digital OVO maka semakin tinggi minat bertransaksi pada kalangan mahasiswa S1 Manajemen Universitas Islam Bandung angkatan 2017-2019. Penggunaan financial technology dompet digital OVO tidak berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas pada kalangan mahasiswa S1 Manajemen Universitas Islam Bandung angkatan 2017-2019, artinya walaupun adanya inovasi teknologi dompet digital OVO tidak mampu meningkatkan efektivitas transaksi keuangan.
