Abstract

The aims and objectives of this research were: 1) to describe the rice supply chain in Semarang Regency, Banyubiru District, Kebumen Village and 2) to determine the efficiency of rice marketing that occurs in the rice supply chain. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative descriptive is used to describe product flow, financial flow, and information flow, while quantitative is used to find out marketing margin and farmer's share. Data collection techniques used primary and secondary data types with purposive sampling for farmers and snowball sampling for distributors. Using a chain analysis approach as a way of knowing the rice supply chain in Banyubiru District, Kebumen Village. The data analysis technique used is farmer's share where the marketing margin aims to determine marketing efficiency. The results of the study showed a picture of the rice supply chain, namely farmers - traders - millers - wholesalers - consumers and were declared inefficient.
