Abstract

The following study gives a brief overview of the construction industry, highlighting urgent problems lacking a systematic solution. The concepts of the effectiveness of the creation of construction products are illustrated here, which are primarily associated with the achievement of a specific goal of the project, as well as with the need for rational consumption of resources. It is due to the huge material consumption of construction: in this regard, the issues of optimizing the number of finances, materials, human and mechanical resources consumed have the highest priority throughout the history of humanity. The most promising method of increasing the efficiency of construction activities through the initiation of digital information modeling methods has been determined. Abstract models: construction products, organizational and technological solutions, and financial aspects, can and should be considered tools for making more effective management decisions. The study presents an overview of the basic concepts required for modeling a complex, multidimensional and multi-criteria system producing construction products. The most assuring methodology for implementing the use of digital information models in a construction project is presented in this study.
