Abstract
The authors talk about the benefits of the collaboration between engineers and occupational therapists to help people do what they want and need to do. Topics include the role of the field of assistive technology (AT) in the collaboration, technology as a common option that occupational therapists use to support their clients' occupational performance, and barriers to occupational therapists and engineers to work closely together.
