Violencia contra las mujeres en instituciones de educación Superior en México.

Abstract

This paper examines the subject of violence against women that occurs in higher education institutions as a result of traditional gender social representations. An overview on violence against women in Mexico is given, as well as on the legal advances on this subject. Moreover, some mechanisms necessary to attend and solve violence against women within higher education institutions are also proposed.
