Abstract

In suburban residential areas where population decline continues, it is necessary to maintain public services by residents autonomy. This report considers measures to promote local autonomy from survey on activity of Liaison Centers of Sapporo City Government and neighborhood associations. In conclusion, I pointed out that the next roles of the Liaison Centers are important. To promote collaboration among neighborhood associations and other organizations, to conduct model projects, to provide wisdom and ideas and to provide various information.
