Abstract
The first objective of this paper is to present the knowledge organization system's (KOS), named Hypertagging (HT), contributions. We aim to bring out weaknesses and opportunities for innovation. HT is qualified as a multidimensional and distributed KOS which adopts a participative documentary classification. The second objective is to explain different metadata design, planned to be used in HT, in order to manage the documents and classification elements (views, dimensions, tags) lifecycles. Therefore, enriched metadata are needed to improve innovation, to detect the emergence of new concepts and practices. They also reinforce the documents' indexation process integrity, within an enterprise environment web 2.0, composed of multiple heterogeneous systems. The use of HT, detailed in a scenario of regulatory intelligence, can be generalized to other contexts. © 2013 Lavoisier.
