Abstract
The results of this study are in the first cycle; the average result of the pre-test was 44. In the post-test, the average of the test results was 57. Next, in cycle two, the average result of the post-test was 76. There was an improvement in every cycle by describing the picture. The students who passed the passing grade in the pre-test of cycle II are 53.8%, but there is a different result in the post-test. 84.5% of students pass with an excellent score. From both test results, there is an improvement of about 30.7%. There is a significant improvement in cycle II. This increase can be seen from the value of each student, which has increased compared to the pre-test. There are improvements in 10, 12.5, 20, 22.5, and even 32.5. This improvement really proves that this method is able to improve vocabulary skills. Because more than 75% of students pass with good scores, this research fulfills the criteria for success.
