Abstract

The crystal structure of SrCn2 has been determined by x-ray methods. The unit cell os hexagonal (space group P63/mmc) with a=10,379 A, c= 6,633 A and contains 8 formular units. The structure comsists strontium ions and lnear cyanamide ions. The following positions have been found: ... For symmetry reasons the cyanamide groups 2b are assumed to be either rotating or stochastically distributed.
