Abstract
The UNESCO declaration of the Quebrada de Humahuaca, as a World Heritage Site in the category of Cultural Landscape (2003), had a powerful effect on the territory highlighting the need for planning instruments. From the hypothesis that improving the description of a territory is proposing, the plans and projects elaborated from the UNESCO declaration are briefly exposed. The Urban and Territorial Plan is then analysed in depth, identifying action strategies and con-tributing with cartographies that allow a better interpretation of the territory and some project logics.
