Abstract

Intratumoral immunotherapies aim to trigger local and sys-temic immunologic responses via direct injection of immuno-stimulatory agents with the goal of tumor cell lysis, followed by release of tumor-derived antigens and subsequent activation of tumor-specific effector T cells.
