Abstract

Cancer is one of the most important causes of death in the world. Today, in addition to medical interventions, importance towards the probability of other aspects on adaptation and efficacy of therapeutic measures has been raised. Self-efficacy and happiness, are among them. The present descriptive study was conducted to establish the relationship between general self-efficacy and happiness among 200 Cancer Patients by using simple random sampling method including the demographic information, Schwartz general self-efficacy, and Oxford Happiness questionnaires. The results showed a significant and direct relationship between general self-efficacy and happiness among the patients which could be considered as the facilitating factors for their health and happiness.
