This analysis needs to be done so that we know the extent to which students are capable of mathematical communication, especially in the discussion of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV). The purpose of this research is to motivate students in terms of mathematical communication. In this process, researchers conducted descriptive qualitative research by analyzing interviews and also observations from the discussion of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV). With unsatisfactory results due to the concept of learning that is not optimal since the beginning of learning. As for the results of this study, these junior high school students had not yet fully mastered the SPLDV material and the researchers could see that each respondent had difficulty answering interview questions.
