Abstract
With the popularity of digital tools, such as smart phones and tablet computer, mini-applications have been developed where visualized interactive media are used to achieve the purpose of more interesting conveyance and understanding. This research project focuses on integrating medical and design professional fields to develop children’s pain-related medical information and auxiliary communication tool, as well as to design and assess the children’s pain APP prototype concept. The main purpose is to understand the needs for design of doctor-patient communication visualization system, as well as to develop APP prototype concept design. Based on the information on design needs obtained from the analysis on user experience design, this study may provide effective reference for future designers and researchers of relevant doctor-patient auxiliary communication systems.
