Abstract
Telemedicine consultations require honed communication skills, active listening, and the ability to assess patients remotely. Telemedicine allows trainees to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds and geographical locations, broadening their clinical experience and cultural sensitivity. Remote consultations allow trainees to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds and geographical locations. AI can be used to create more realistic and personalized telemedicine simulations, adapting to the trainee’s skill level and providing tailored feedback. VR can create immersive telemedicine experiences, allowing trainees to practice complex procedures and interactions in a safe and controlled environment. Providing opportunities for trainees to participate in telemedicine-based global health initiatives, enabling them to provide care to underserved populations in remote locations.
