Suicide in childhood and adolescence

Abstract

This essay is the transcription of a class given during the II Workshop on Suicide of the Laboratory for the Study of Death, which occurred on May 22, 2013 (Brazil). Its purpose was to address the historical and epidemiological aspects of suicide in childhood and adolescence, and to focus on the approaches suggested for this phenomenon.
