Abstract

RESUMO Como pensar as formas pelas quais se estabelecem as relações de amizade na contemporaneidade? Como contribuir para avançar o pensamento sobre a temática, dada a importância da amizade como espaço político e social? Com o objetivo de debater tais questões, foram organizados doze encontros com 122 alunos de 7ª e 8ª séries de uma escola de ensino público da região sul. A pesquisa toma como base teórica a hermenêutica de Michel Foucault, bem como seus estudos sobre ética e estética. Os resultados da pesquisa destacam a força do discurso familiar e a contribuição das dinâmicas de gênero no laço de amizade jovem. A Internet provou ser de suma importância, trazendo ao nosso estudo dados consistentes para investigar como se configuram as relações de amizade na atualidade.ABSTRACT How the ways friendship ties are established can be thought nowadays? How to advance the discussion of the topic of friendship given its importance in the social and political space? In order to debate those issues, twelve meetings were held with 122 students in the seventh and eighth grades from South Brazilian public schools. The present research takes Michel Foucault’s hermeneutics as its theoretical framework, as well as his studies of ethics and aesthetics. In terms of research findings we highlight the strength of familiar discourse and the contribution of gender dynamics to youth friendship ties. The internet has proved to be of paramount importance to these youngsters, bringing consistent data to investigate how youth friendship relations are being configured nowadays.
