Abstract

Among varying organ involvements, neurologic as well as musculoskeletal involvement are important toward the quality of life and prognosis in the patients of rheumatic diseases. In general, these occur as the increment of disease activity and influence the choice of therapeutic regime. In this review, neurologic and musculoskeletal involvements, especially the former, found in systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis/polymyositis, Sjogren's syndrome, Behçet's disease and vasculitis syndrome are discussed.
