Ensinando sobre ondas transversais, ondas estacionárias e ondas polarizadas utilizando um simples motor a pilha

Abstract

In this article we present a simple and low coast device to produce circular and planar polarized standing waves on a string. The device could be used by teacher in class to qualitative demonstrations about transverse waves, standing waves and polarization of waves. The destruction of waves by action of two crossed polarizers also could be demonstrated with this equipment. © The Sociedade Brasileira de Física.
