Abstract

AN INVESTIGATION OF DIFFUSIVITY AND SOLUBILITY OF HYDROGEN IN BOTH ANNEALED AND AS COLD ROLLED SPECIMENS HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE BY MEANS OF AN ELECTROCHEMICAL PERMEATION METHOD. THE EFFECT OF FORMATION OF FOREIGN PHASES SUCH AS HYDRIDE PHASES ( ″GAMMA″ //H//,// ″EPSILON″ //H) AND HYDROGEN-INDUCED MARTENSITIC TRANSFORMATION PHASES ( ″EPSILON″ + ″ALPHA″ ' ) ON PERMEATION BEHAVIOR IS DISCUSSED. IN JAPANESE WITH ENGLISH ABSTRACT.
