Abstract

Human beings are adapted to dry land and standard atmosphere, and to investigate other areas of the globe such as the sea and the air, let alone Space, we need the multivalent support of numerous machine interventions. Space architect Brent Sherwood explains the huge problems that must be overcome to satisfy our longing to explore extraterrestrial worlds and become truly posthuman as we travel and live beyond the confines of our planet.
