KEANEKARAGAMAN IKAN DI SUNGAI CILUTUNG KABUPATEN SUMEDANG, PROVINSI JAWA BARAT

Abstract

The Cilutung River is a tributary of the Cimanuk River in West Java. This research aims to determine the diversity of fish that live in the Cilutung River in September-November 2020. The method used in the research is the survey method. The sampling technique was determined by purposive sampling method and was carried out at three research stations. Parameters observed were abundance, diversity, dominance, and evenness. 300 fish caught consisting of 10 species in 4 families and identified using taxonomic method by looking at meristic and morphometric characteristic. The diversity index at stations 1, 2, and 3 has a value of 1.03 H' 1.57 and is in a low category. The dominance index at stations 1, 2, and 3 has a value of 0.28 < C 0.38 and is in a low category. The evenness index has a value of 0.26 < E 0.37 and in the small category, the community structure is depressed.
