Abstract
The finding of glass eels (Anguilla anguilla) captured at the Mar Menor, a permanent hypersaline coastal lagoon, is reported and represents the first record of this life cycle phase for this environment located at SE region of the Iberian Peninsula, Spain. Implications in the facultative catadromy habitat use of this species are also analyzed.
