Abstract
This Article discusses the actions of the military on September 11, 1973 when they took power in Chile. We look at what happened in the city of Concepción during this historical juncture and the consequences arising from new developments in both the population and in various institutions of the city. To explain this finding using the statements of witnesses who lived through those events.
