Abstract

In view of sustainable development, it is convincing that there will not be man-made disasters on a large scale from the potential effects of a large number of nuclear weapons still existing. Sustainable development means keeping the consumption of renewable natural resources within the limits of replenishment. Decision about levels of protection on the environment should be based on the best possible economic and scientific analysis.
