KOMUNIKASI PARTISIPATIF DAN KOMUNIKASI KOLABORATIF: STRATEGI MENINGKATKAN PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PROGRAM KAMPUNG KELUARGA BERKUALITAS

Abstract

This study aims to find out the development communication strategy used by the Pannampu Village Head of Makassar City in implementing the Nusa Indah Quality Family Village (KB) program and to find out the factors that hinder the success of the Nusa Indah KB Village program. This research is a qualitative research. The research was conducted in Pannampu Village, Makassar City with the consideration that Pannampu Village occupies the second position in Tallo District as a village with a high population and has a number of slum points. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with a number of informants. The determination of informants is carried out purposively. The results of the study show that the most appropriate communication strategies used to mobilize a society that has high heterogeneity and the majority are poorly educated are participatory communication and collaborative communication. The factor that hinders the Kampung KB Nusa Indah program is the mindset of people who still think that births can be regulated without following family planning and need funding.
