Mukolitik Activities Test Curcuma Aeruginosa Roxb Towards the Duck Egg White Through in Vitro

Abstract

Indonesia is the rich of natural resources country, a part of society use the plant as medicine toward various disease. One of them is curcuma aeruginosa roxb that contain of chemical saponin to occur the cough especially for cough with phlegm, so many people have used this plant. Mukolitik is some medicines that help to recover of viskosits sputum, especially on lower respiratory track. Methodology extraksi that used is infusa method, that is research method by searching simplisia on pan contain of boiled water, heat on the boiled water almost 15 minutes on the temper. Making of mucus analogue factitious by duck egg white, mukolitik activities test used 5 groups, that are positive control (acetylcysteine), negative control (aqua destillata), and simple test each concentrate 0,1%, concentrate 0,3%, concentrate 0,5%. From the research result show that infusa of curcuma aeruginosa roxb with concentrate 0,1%, 0,3%, 0,5% founded there is mukolitik activities. Infusa curcuma aeruginosa roxb concentrate 0,1% it was reach of positive control.
