Cognição e linguagem: introduzindo alguns problemas

Abstract

In this paper we try to present the connectionst approach ofcomprehension, and some of the problems that this or any othermodel of comprehension needs to face. Among the problems, wemay mention the necessity to consider the discursive and pragmaticcontext in which language is used, as well as an embodied perspectiveof mind – intelligence must be seen as something that happens in amind that belongs to a body that by its turn lives in a social universe.We also mention the classic problem of how the information thatcomes from different sources and that is received by differentmechanisms in the brains is processed and integrated.
