Abstract

Fluctuation measurements were carried out via constant‐temperature hot‐wire anemometry inside the turbulent boundary layer of a flat plate and a compression ramp (deflexion angle: 11.5). The free‐stream Mach number was M = 2.54. Fluctuation profiles of the alternating quantities temperature, density and velocity were obtained under the assumption of low pressure fluctuations.
