Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present the influence of individual inventory management strategies on the financial performance of companies. In the article inventory management strategies were presented. There were shown inventory management costs of individual strategies. The conducted analysis showed that the best method of inventory management is to work within a marketing and purchasing group and conservative strategy supported by appropriate control methods and classification of stocks. It also presented the strategy which is the most risky for companies, but which can greatly reduce the cost of basic inventory management. The article also depicted how various strategies affect different groups of costs associated with inventory management and whether they have an impact on the level of incomes from sales.
