Abstract

Object recognition using Augmented Reality has become a trend in the world of promotional media for early childhood children to the general public. The objects used are animals, plants, letters, numbers and others. This study uses objects in the form of ancient animals that have been extinct since millions of years ago. The purpose of this study is to focus on introducing ancient animals to children that there are reptiles with giant postures that have lived in ancient times. Even though these reptiles have become extinct, they will use Augmented Reality in this study as an interesting medium of information. The ADDIE model developed in this study was compiled by the FAST Corner Detection and Natural Feature Tracking (NFT) Algorithm towards a high success rate. The test results on several versions of android in the form of image objects have a high level of accuracy through the calculation of FAST Corner Detection and testing the NFT method. The higher the object rating shown on vuforia, the higher the accuracy in detecting objects on the marker.
