Preliminary data indicates the importance of depuration in oysters for microfibers contamination

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the presence of microfibers in oysters after depuration with an experimental filtering approach. The control didn’t show microfibers and the treatment presented microfibers in oysters’ soft parts, suggesting the importance of depuration.
