Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a worldwide disease. The original theory, that RA only occurs in areas with cold and wet weather conditions, turned out to be wrong; however, its incidence does seem to vary between countries [1]. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
