Abstract

Over recent decades, the United Arab Emirates has established itself as a hub for high-quality healthcare and innovation. In response to global challenges and a growing population, the UAE has invested in establishing a robust healthcare system that is responsive to the needs of its citizens, residents, and visitors. Innovative digital technologies, such as virtual care and metaverse platforms, are being harnessed to improve healthcare delivery. The introduction of genome sequencing has shown promise for the development of precision medicine. The UAE healthcare sector will continue to grow and develop into the future, supported by continued investment in research and development, as well as robust regulation.
