Reaction of the isolable ferrocenyldichlorogermyl anion, Fc*GeCl2- (Fc* = 2,5-bis(3,5-dit- butylphenyl)-1-ferrocenyl), with the isolable chalcogenenyl halides resulted in the formation of the corresponding organochalcogenyldichlorogermanes that were structurally characterized. Thus, it was demonstrated the use of sterically demanding ferrocenyl groups allowed isolating stable crystalline organochalcogenyldichlorogermanes.
