Abstract
An essay is presented on the use of government information/resources in information literacy for-credit courses and other advance learning opportunities. It offers a review of the ways in which government information research is included in information literacy and library instruction (IL/LI) classes, underscoring the value of government information tools for lifelong learning. Discussed are findings of the survey on government information credit-bearing literacy instruction.
