Abstract

Given the constant changes and demands of today’s society, this research jointly analyzes the factors and relationship of entrepreneurial attitudes and intentions in university students at the Higher Polytechnic School of Chimborazo-Ecuador. For this, a methodology divided into different stages was applied, such as the identification of needs; establish the population and sample; development of the instrument for data collection; validation of the instrument through reliability analysis with Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient; processing and analysis of results, using statistical software; and then the exploratory factor analysis of principal components, in order to verify the dimensions proposed for the study of entrepreneurial attitudes. From the above, 3 groupings were obtained in relation to the tendency to carry out entrepreneurial activities, risk tolerance and identification of opportunities. With the results, it is concluded that the instrument is reduced to 20 items in the three selected dimensions with eigenvalues greater than 1, the percentage of explanations of the variance is 61%, considered acceptable, 58.74% of students have entrepreneurial attitudes. highly significant, 39.86% have moderately significant attitudes and 1.4% have little significant entrepreneurial attitudes.
