Brief: new PC-based software for multiphase-flow calculations

Abstract

A new multiphase flow analysis and design system for DOS-based personal computers is described. Examples are also presented and analyzed with different multiphase-flow techniques. These techniques are investigated by use of flow-map and 3D pressure surface comparisons, and a new mechanistic model is discussed that attempts to overcome many of the problems associated with existing multiphase-flow analysis methods.
