Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum in 2024 will be implemented nationally. byprioritizing learning that develops soft skills and character, namely byimplementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5),focusing on essential material, and flexible learning. The Pancasila StudentProfile is a form of translating national education goals and directingeducational policies for educators in building the character and competenceof students. The research uses a qualitative evaluative approach with theCIPP evaluation model (Context Evaluation, Input Evaluation, ProcessEvaluation, and Product Evaluation). The research results show that theprogram to strengthen Pancasila students (P5) is not the same asextracurricular cognitive learning. Achievements for student assessment areidentifying the strengths and challenges they will face in the learning, socialand work contexts they will choose in the future, they must adapt and startimplementing their plans and development strategies by taking into accountthe interests and demands of the learning and work contexts they will have.implemented in the future and strive to overcome the challenges encountered.Thus, the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students is carried outas a catalyst for acceleration and implementation of an independentcurriculum that is in accordance with the vision of Indonesian education.
