Abstract
The diagnosis of a brain tumor is crucial for one's health and should be done promptly to avoid potential health complications. Many people experience severe dizziness, vomiting, and sometimes a high fever during the initial symptom phase. It is of utmost importance to obtain an accurate and early diagnosis to determine the type of tumor and select the appropriate treatment. To diagnose tumors, several procedures like tumor marker tests, radiological exams such as ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, or PET scan, and biopsy can be carried out. A system was created to make it easier to read MRI images and detect brain tumors using a combination of Watershed and Thresholding methods. The research methods used in this study were Literature Study and Dataset Collection.
